University of Florida LGBT & Allied Alumni Association

The LGBT & Allied Alumni Association aims to (re)connect UF LGBT & Allied Alumni to current LGBT and Allied students, alumni, and University community at large. Through doing so, the LGBT & Allied Alumni Association will help foster a strong commitment to cultivating resources, mentorship, support, and community for all LGBT and Allied Gators.

Queer Nation

Queer Nation strives to provide a welcoming and affirming space to attract, represent, and retain LGBTQIA+ faculty and staff at the University of Florida. They aim to promote an inclusive campus, advocate for equitable policies for LGBTQIA+ faculty, staff, and students, promote LGBTQIA+ visibility on the UF campus, and provide social and professional development opportunities for LGBTQIA+ faculty and staff.

OutLaw

OUTLAW is a social and political organization that advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied students. Members work to increase community awareness of issues relating to the intersection of gender, sexual orientation, and the law. They hold regular meetings, guest lectures, and awareness events throughout campus and provide a forum within the law school to discuss matters of importance to LGBTQ+ students.

Ally-Gators

Ally-Gators is a gay-straight alliance in the UF College of Pharmacy. They promote LGBTQ+ related medical and dental education along with public health and mental health awareness outlets. They are open to all students, faculty, and staff.

HealthQueer Alliance

HealthQueer Alliance is an LGBTQ interest group at the University of Florida that is dedicated to education, equality and community within the health sciences. They seek to educate tomorrow’s heath care providers, promote equal health opportunities for all patients, and foster community within LGBTQ and allied students in the health sciences

OUTGrad

OutGrad is an interdisciplinary collective of LGBTQ+ University of Florida graduate students providing consistent, supportive access to community and resources for all LGBTQ+ UF graduate students. OutGrad is a center of information, social connection, and organizing power for UF’s diverse LGBTQ+ grad student body, uniting LGBTQ+ grad students as they encounter the challenges and triumphs of LGBTQ+ identity in the academy.
