Trans@UF

Trans@UF is a discussion group exclusive to transgender, nonbinary, and gender-questioning students at the University of Florida. If you are not cisgender, you are welcome to attend! We meet biweekly on Friday nights via Zoom from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. We encourage new faces and new topics, so please feel free to attend! Attendance is not mandatory— come as often as you are able!

Queer and Trans People of Color Collective (QTPOCC)

      QTPOC Collective is a collaborative group of LGBTQ+ / Two Spirit / Gender-nonconforming POC throughout the Black, Indigenous, Desi, Asian, Latinx, Arab, and other diasporas. Our goal is to facilitate educational discussions on healing and thriving in a predominantly white system with an emphasis on building solidarity, de-centering whiteness, and resurfacing our deeply interconnected and complicated histories. Queer Women Empowerment Network (QWEN)

QWEN is discussion group for lesbian/queer/bisexual/questioning women-identified, femme, and nonbinary folks (trans-inclusive). The group will focus on issues of identity, women’s issues in the LGBTQ movement, facilitated readings, and anything else participants want to talk about!

Queer Asian Pacific Islander Desi (QAPID)

Queer Asian Pacific Islander Desi seeks to carve a safe space for API LGBTQAAI+ identified individuals. Through guided discussions and interactive socials, QAPID seeks to educate, empower and create a close-knit community among our members. Further, QAPID strives to educate the API community about LGBTQ issues and develop more allies for the queer community. QAPID is not currently meeting. Stay tuned for further information or check out the QTPOC Collective through Pride Student Union on Facebook.


Hispanic-Latinx Queers (HLXQ)

Hispanic-Latinx Queers is a closed discussion group for those with both of these identities. It is designed to be a safe and brave space for individuals in the HLXQ community. HLXQ will not be meeting during the Fall 2021 semester.
